GLAP Alumini

GLAP’s courses focus on small-class education and English-Medium Education, these helped increase my knowledge, broaden my horizons. At GLAP, not only is there a broad range of subjects available in English, but also I was able to gain different perspectives from professors and students with varying experiences. I also realized that map out and hard work are essential to achieving my goal. I have been interested in international politics and ideological battle before I entered Rikkyo University and I am also paying great attention to the social and political courses. Although these courses formed my own unique way of thinking, I realized my lack of knowledge, In my freshman year and decided to go to graduate school. During my one-year exchange study life in Hong Kong, I learned a lot about basic political theory and the historical background of Chinese politics, which laid the foundation for my career. Since returning to Japan, I selected the area of Citizenship and 1.5 years of my campus life from returning to Japan to graduation was more exciting and inspiring than I ever thought by making use of my study abroad experience and reading many books and articles on the analysis of Chinese diplomacy and political theory. At GLAP, there are many opportunities for face-to-face communication and less distance between students and professors. The fact that frequent communication with students not only during class but also outside of class also has helped me to grow, and was very helpful in taking the graduate school exam. I strongly believe that the language skills, the knowledge in various fields, and the logical thinking that GLAP teaches you are very important for your own future path.
